About the Role
At Applivery, as an Implementation Specialist – Android MDM, you will be responsible for leading the successful deployment and configuration of Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions for Android environments. You will work closely with customers, project managers, and technical teams to ensure smooth implementation, solution testing, documentation, and post-deployment support.
Your role will be crucial in guiding organizations through the setup, enrollment, and policy configuration of Android devices, ensuring best practices and compliance with enterprise mobility standards. You will also provide Level 2 technical support, troubleshooting and optimizing deployments to deliver a seamless experience.
This role requires strong technical expertise in Android MDM solutions, a structured approach to implementation, and excellent communication skills for customer training and documentation.
What You Will Do
Project Deployment & Implementation
Lead the end-to-end implementation of Android MDM solutions, from initial setup to final deployment.
Configure and test device enrollment, security policies, app management, and compliance settings.
Work closely with customers to understand their business needs and design tailored MDM solutions.
Solution Testing & Optimization
Perform pre-deployment testing, validating configurations, security policies, and app distribution workflows.
Identify and resolve technical issues before full-scale deployment.
Optimize device configurations for performance, security, and compliance.
Technical Documentation & Training
Create and maintain technical documentation, including setup guides, troubleshooting steps, and best practices.
Provide hands-on training sessions for customers, ensuring they can manage and scale their Android MDM environments effectively.
Develop use case training materials, covering Android Enterprise, Zero-Touch Enrollment, Work Profiles, and device provisioning.
L2 Technical Support & Troubleshooting
Act as an escalation point for Level 2 technical issues, assisting customers in diagnosing and resolving complex MDM-related problems.
Troubleshoot enrollment failures, app deployment issues, and policy conflicts.
Collaborate with engineering and product teams to escalate unresolved technical challenges and improve product functionality.
What You Will Need
Strong expertise in Android MDM solutions, including Android Enterprise, Zero-Touch Enrollment, Work Profiles, and Managed Google Play.
Minimum 3 years of experience in MDM implementation.
Hands-on experience configuring security policies, compliance rules, and app deployment for Android devices.
Excellent troubleshooting skills, with the ability to analyze and resolve technical issues related to MDM platforms.
Experience working with enterprise mobility management (EMM) solutions such as Intune, VMware Workspace ONE, MobileIron, or similar.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Proficiency in writing technical documentation and training materials.
Experience with API integrations and automation (JSON, REST APIs) is a plus.
Familiarity with scripting for device management (e.g., ADB commands) is a plus.
Relevant certifications (Android Enterprise Professional, Google IT Support, or similar) are a plus.
